Save a frame from video on iPhone

Our iPhone SE2 test — iOS 17.7.2

On our Korean-model iPhone SE2 running iOS 17.7.2, the Photos long-press menu had no frame-saving item, and the edit screen showed only Video (影片), Adjust (调整), Filters (滤镜), Crop (裁切).

The tested video was 32 seconds long, 1080x1920, HEVC, 29.85fps.

We opened pickvideoframe.com in Safari, selected a video from Photos, dragged the timeline and exported a PNG that appeared under Downloads (下载) in the Files (文件) app.

In that same Safari test, pickvideoframe.com allowed video selection from Photos and from the Files (文件) app.

Uneven intervals: use milliseconds

In this iPhone SE2 / iOS 17.7.2 Safari test, our test showed that timeline positions lined up at millisecond level, but extracted intervals varied—sometimes 1 second and sometimes a little over 0.9 seconds—so image number did not equal second number.
